The project’s design is based on the following important points:
1) Emphasis to purity,
familiarity, regionally of form and concept
2) The project’s concept is inspired by the historical Iranian guesthouses which are called “Karvansara”.
3) An attempt is made to create a balanced bonding between the project area and the environment by forming a green living area in the dessert. This is traditionally called “Vahe”. The “Vahe” is formed based on the geometric structure of the traditional “Persian Gardens”
4) The building is located as a “Kooshk” in the garden (the main traditional building in the “Persian Gardens”)
The project’s site is located in an agricultural region with mild environment, at a hillside, at the western area of a 20 hectares land which is used for 40 town houses a guesthouse, recreation center, sports facilities, and a park. Fars province, 20km from Darab township
The project is used for the guests of the plant, as well as the clerks of the plant. A four story guesthouse, 3600m2, with four faces include:
First and second floor: entrance lobby, restaurant, multi functional saloon, kitchen, main interior yard and etc.
Third and fourth floor: 40 guest rooms and 4 suites, TV and living rooms and some other facilities.
Basement: Jacuzzi, gym, ping pong saloon, snooker room and storages.
- Structure: Concrete frame work with concrete deck
Architecture: Cavity brick walls and dry wall system for exterior and interior, exposed concrete for ceiling and columns, Marmarite stone tile flooring
Utility: Central cooling and heating system including water Chiller+ boiler, with fan
coil units and duct mounted distribution system
