    Description:

The design scenario was about forming a cultural building to honour one of the most famous philosophers in east and Islamic world, who lived about 700 years ago in Shiraz and resided in the Jahan-nama garden (the upper historical garden of the project). The project was born as part of a program to promote the contemporary cultural capacity of Shiraz with emphasize on the philosophy and Iranian historical culture. The project was formed with attention to the time and location, design scenario and urban context, and the following significant points:
    1) Design concept was focused on creating a humble architecture.
    2) An attempt to reflect my understanding of Mola-Sadra’s philosophy through architecture.
    3) The project was placed between the historical garden and the cultural square for two reasons:
    a) To create an architectural solution for the large drop in level from the garden to the
    square.
    b) In order to create a southern facade for the garden and a northern facade for the square.
    4) The south and north face of the building are created, by using a simple and pure rhythmic form and keeping the same tempo as the existing historic garden wall.
    5) An attempt was to create a bright, dynamic, pure, calm, humble, transparent and free interior space
